Synopsis
Manual de Pediatria para Residentes is a work designed for the training and clinical practice of pediatric residents. Structured around three axes (child health care and prevention, conditions commonly seen in urgent care, and management of critically ill children), the book brings together content on diagnosis, therapeutic management, and procedures, based on evidence and on the experience of professionals from different fields. It covers topics such as breastfeeding, immunization, neonatal conditions, respiratory, neurological, infectious, and hematologic diseases, as well as breaking bad news, palliative care, and pain management. The book is intended to support clinical decision-making and continuing education, contributing to the improvement of pediatric care across different healthcare settings.
